His programs have always been of great interest and he has performed with excellent technique. The audience has appreciated his explanations about the music he presented and about the construction of the classical guitar. We are always delighted to include him in our series.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jim Metzler, Director of Music-First Park Congregational Church, Grand Rapids Mi.<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u201cSensitive, lyrical playing\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mark Loring, Director of Music Ministries-First United Methodist Church, Grand Rapids Mi.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u201cJeff Dwarshuis plays the classical guitar with precision and artistry. His varied program demonstrated many of the different techniques used in playing the classical guitar, which Mr. Dwarshuis clearly explained to the students. I also appreciated how Jeff affirmed each student\u2019s question with a thoughtful response. The students and faculty at Jenison Christian School thoroughly enjoyed the performance presented by Mr. Dwarshuis\u2014a highlight of our annual Fine Arts Week.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>David VanZytveld, Music Director-Jenison Christian School<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u201cJeff played with accuracy and virtuosity, but also with great sensitivity and musicality\u2026..thoroughly beautiful playing.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Christopher Dekker, Director of Music-Second Congregational Church, Grand Rapids Mi<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u201cJeff\u2019s concert was delightful! His selections were great, and his performance of them was superb! His research into the history of the composers was a delightful addition. Jeff\u2019s music brought the crowd to their feet. For it\u2019s worth to note that our library program attendees have never given a performer a standing ovation before Jeff.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Larry Halverson, Community Relations Coordinator-Loutit District Library<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>&nbsp;\u201cJeff Dwarshuis performed well to an enthusiastic crowd. His obvious love for the guitar and its music connected with the audience and his comments added pleasure to the performance. In addition, Dwarshuis was able to achieve many timbres and a wide range of dynamics on the guitar. These, coupled with a sure technique gave everyone a most enjoyable afternoon.
